I'm in a shit band. We;ve been together for all of a month and we;ve had 3 band practices.
It's fun and all, but we can only play in practice rooms because nobody has a room big enough for all 6 of us and I can't transport drums, I struggle with fitting 3 cymbals and a stand in a backpack.
Our "regular" room has stopped leasing, so we're on the hunt for a new one. Pray tell me which one of these sounds more reliable and trustworthy.
1. Recently moves studio with 7 rooms and 3 years of reputation which is £10 an hour
2. A studio in an industrial park which I've been to and can attest is good with lots of facilities which has negotiable rates.
or 3. a pub which charges £30 a month with no idea of the facilities.
Call me a bitch for being pessimistic, but I'm guessing that the pub is only the top of everyone else's agenda because they are all huge pissheads. I don't drink, and I'm ok with people who do, but screwing yourself out of decent facilities because of the vicinity of alcohol makes me dislike you a little more.
